Google +ing it with the Comms Council

The Comms Council are getting on board the Google + band wagon nice and early, and with an awesome project. The Trapeze: think linked in, meets individual folios, meets visual searching, meets instant access to talent around the country. It looks like it is going to be a great way to connect with all sorts of people with all sorts of skills and will hopefully mean that next digital project using some rare code language will be a lot easier. Stay tuned as it is about to launch.  http://www.thetrapeze.com.au/

Christmas is here!

Christmas is well and truly here, most of us are already sick of it as we’ve been working on Christmas campaigns for the last few months. Most are probably to do with flogging retail offers like 15% of linen and bedsheets or trying to fill aeroplanes to Newcastle or even convincing us all to buy way to much food, and we love it because we get to use “classic” one liners about Santa getting stuck in a chimney or Mistletoe at family only parties. Here is a campaign a few of the YB team have been involved with that is about the complete opposite.

Check out the full campaign here: truemeaningofchristmas.org.au

The digital world comes to a pause in Melbourne

The Digital world is one that rarely slows and almost never stops (apart from the occasional Fail Whale). It is a beast that continues to evolve and is fastly becoming something that isn’t contained within URL’s, digilites and iphone apps it is now part of our every day (offline)life and is something we can’t escape. But all of this you already know… what you don’t know is a collective of digital gurus have joined forces down here in Melbourne to try and explain all of the different things they are know about this digital world. And the best part is that it wont cost you $2,000 or mean you have to take time of work, in fact most of the events are free and between the hours of 6:30 and 10pm.

So between the 7th and 13th of November get into the city and get as much digital knowledge as you can feast on at http://pausefest.com.au/
